Academy The DSC Academy is a developmental program designed for players aged 5-7 years old.  The program aims to provide technical training for young players who have a desire to develop their technical skill level.  With professional coaching, Academy players are exposed to developmentally appropriate and fun training sessions and small sided games to enhance individual contact with the ball.  Training will focus on developing technical skills like First Touch, Dribbling, Passing and Receiving, Shooting and Attacking Moves.  The Academy program is the launch pad into the Dexter Soccer Clubs Select Program that starts at U8. This is a perfect environment for players looking to advance from community soccer into a more structured training environment.  A season or two within the Academy will give our professional coaching staff the opportunity to work with and develop your child ready for the next level but more importantly foster within them a love and a passion for the game.  This spring we are putting on an 8 week program made up of both technical training and Small Sided Game days.  Training will be a 1 Hr session (5-6pm) led by our Director of Youth Development, Adam Lamb along with the assistance of other members of our professional coaching staff on either a Monday or a Wednesday evening.  Games will then take place on Saturday mornings between the hrs of 10 - 12noon).  ALL sessions will take place at Hudson Mills Metro Park.  The price for this 8 week program is $150.
